About the 8020-SCP-632
The 8020-SCP-632 is a Processor Module with a Floating Point created by Schneider Electric. It may have also been mass-produced by Square D depending on when it was manufactured.
The 8020-SCP-632 is a Sy/Max Class 8020 600 Model, 26K processor. Class 600 processors can perform over 100 functions. The SCP-623 specifically has a memory size of 26,000 words. A math coprocessor comes standard to perform complex math functions. This model has the capability to communicate with up to 16 other Class 600s over high-speed SY/PEER link. This processor can be installed with other Class 600s in a one rack assembly. The SY/PEER Link operates at 10Mbits per second. This model can operate in conjunction with others like it or can be a stand-alone unit.
The 8020-SCP-632 features a front panel that has LED Status Indicators, a battery access door, a key switch, communication ports, and a PEER BNC (which connects the device to the SY/Peer Link.) It has a scan speed of .8 milliseconds per K Boolean and 3.2 milliseconds per K Nominal. It has a Motorola 6810 processor. New features for this model include but are not limited to a real-time clock and calendar, automatic storage of error codes, and an under-voltage lockout circuit.
For more information on this series of processors, please consult the Schneider Electric 600 Model instruction manual. Only a trained professional should alter or install this processor.
