The 8030-CBP-320 is a Square D Sy/Max Class 8030 type RS-422 Isolator/Protector unit. This unit works in conjunction with other modules within the Square D Sy/Max 8030 module system.
The 8030-CBP-320 is a small unit weighing in at 1.75 pounds before it has been boxed and packaged properly for shipment to your location. Since AX Control ensures all products arrive in the same condition they leave our warehouse, your shipment weight will be more. Parts ordered on the same purchase order can be combined to save on overall shipping costs.
The 8030-CBP-320 functions as an RS-422 isolator/protector. The unit is designed with two flanges, top and bottom that each have screw notches cut into them to allow for mounting of the unit. Please follow manufacturer directions for installation; these can be found in original documentation like user guides and manuals.
The front panel of the 8030-CBP-320 has three LED indicators including one red LED for power and two amber LEDs for RX and TX. The unit has two terminal strips. These are located on either side of the Isolator panel. One terminal strip has seven screws while the other has six screw connections. The seven-position terminal strip includes a common while the six-position terminal strip includes the ground. The unit is marked with the Square D logo and carries a Sy/Max label that includes the part number. The front panel is screwed on at all four corners.
