About the 8030-CC-15
The 8030-CC-15 is a Symax Power Supply Cable. It is typically used between a Class 8030 Processor and a PS25 or a PS35 power supply. This cable is most often used in panel mounted applications.
The 8030-CC-15 cable is designed to be routed from the P1 connector in an upward direction toward the PLC rack. The power supply should be mounted on the side where power is required. The CC-15 cable should never be bent in a downward direction leaving the P1 connector. Be sure to understand the current capacity for the associated power supply and make sure not to exceed these.
The 8030-CC-15 connects to a P1 connector with an A1/A2 (large) and five small pin out design. The A1 pin is +5 VDC and the A2 Pin is common. The line of two smaller pins includes the ac fail and bpow. The line of three smaller pins includes one pin with no connection, battery low, and another no connection.
The 8030-CC-15 is 21 inches long and requires components to be mounted close together. Do not mount components in such a way that strain or torque will be put on the cable or its connectors.
