The 8030-CC-25 is one of several power supply cables for the 8030 system available here at AX Control. These cables were originally produced by Schneider Electric.
The 8030-CC-25 cable is 25 inches (64 cm) long and is designed to connect to a P2 connector. This cable should only be used for auxiliary I/O and should not be used for powering a rack with a SY/MAX processor. This cable is capable of a maximum current of 8 amps at 40 degrees Celsius.
The 8030-CC-25 is designed to plug into a P2 connector. When the cable is plugged into the front of a Sy/Max module to one of these connectors, the cable will protrude approximately two inches from the front of the unit.
The 8030-CC-25 must be bent properly to ensure the connectors on the power supplies are not damaged. In order to properly route the 8030-CC-25, the second rack with auxiliary I/O must be placed below the power supply in order to properly route the cables. The 8030-CC-25 should never be bent in an upward direction from the P2 connector. It should be routed downward from the P2.
The 8030-CC-25 includes two slide locks over screws on either side of the connector. Be sure these are both in the open position before beginning any installation.
