The 16-Slot I/O Rack Assembly Module is a product made by Schneider Electric's Square D division. This module is from the SY/MAX 8030 class of products. This module is a rack assembly which means that additional modules can be added to it. This particular rack has 16 digital slots to attach devices. Each the module has an I/O capacity of 64. This model is a Standard rack with a register slot. These extra modules being added to the rack, increase the working power of the system. The system has the dimensions of 25 x 19 x 8.25 with a weight of 17.1 pounds before module addition. This module can be panel or rack mounted, making it useful for space efficiency. The module can handle communication links from its processor to remote I/O racks from a maximum distance of 15000 feet.
