About the 8030-CRM-210

The 8030-CRM-210 is a Local Interface Module for the 8030 Sy/Max programmable controller.   The Sy/Max 8030 is designed to be configurable using a variety of interfacing modules in order to meet your specific needs.  

The 8030-CRM-210 has 512 registers including 255 designed for external drop addressing and an additional 257 designed to be used for internal data storage.   If all of the external registers are not used for external drop addressing they can be dedicated to internal data storage instead.   Please note that register addresses are fixed once they have been assigned and can only be reassigned using user rack addressing software. 

The 8030-CRM-210 is compatible with a number of different racks, including CRK-210/300, DRK-210/300, and GRK-110/210.  Power should be removed from racks before adding or removing interface modules.   The 8030-CRM-210  typically has a keying pin located between 92 and 94 registers that must be inserted manually during installation.  

The 8030-CRM-210 is designed to allow controllers to communicate with remote input and outputs through a multi-channel multi-drop system.
