The 8030-DOM-101 is a SyMax Four Function Deluxe Output module. The unit is 120 VAC/VDC. This component is part of a class of modules designed as part of the SyMax 8030 system of processors, I/Os, and power supplies.
The 8030-DOM-101 is a signal converter designed to translate signals from the processor into higher AC/DC voltages that can be used by field devices and to translate higher voltage field device signals into lower voltage signals for the processor. The unit is designed to fit within an I/O rack alongside the processor. The rack typically provides power connections and mounting slots. The current draw for this unit is 125 mA (75% duty cycle) to 145mA (100% duty cycle).
The 8030-DOM-101 includes dual indicator lights for I/O points in order to provide the user with faster diagnosis of I/O malfunctions. The unit is designed with accessible fuses and blown fuse indicator lights. The front of the unit includes LEDs for Logic and Load for each of the inputs.
The 8030 system has specific limits on how far the processor module can be placed away from I/O modules. Please refer to manuals originally provided by Schneider Electric to be sure your system is set up correctly and within these parameters.
