About the 8030-HIM-191A
The 8030-HIM-191A, part of the SY/MAX Class 8030, is an 8 Point Input Module.
When inserted into a rack, the 8030-HIM-191A can be used as a diagnostic aid for testing and troubleshooting the inputs of the programmable controller system. The module does not require any external writing, so therefore a terminal block is not included with the module.
The 8030-HIM-191A module features eight inputs, 40mA of current draw on SY/MAX power supply, an ambient temperature rating of 0 - 60 degrees Celsius, and a humidity rating of 0 - 95% non-condensing. The 8030-HIM-191A module may also be sued in the following I/O rack assemblies: 8030-HRK-100 and 8030-HRK-200.
The input simulator module may be used in the rack assembly as a toggle switch to select different functions or sequences in the control program. Depending on the size and routing of wires to the terminals of any adjacent modules, it may be necessary to remove the adjacent terminal block before removing the 8030-HIM-191A module.
To install the 8030-HIM-191A, insert the module into the rack (while holding the module’s pull tab in a horizontal position as the module is inserted) and tighten the captive screw at the bottom of the module. After that lower the latching clamp to properly secure the top of the 8030-HIM-191A module.
The 8030-HIM-191A module weighs approximately 1.0 lbs., without any of AX Control’s packaging, and is rectangular in shape.
