About the 8030-HOM-221
To support a wide variety of tasks, the Type HOM-221 120 VAC Output Module can support up to 8 loads. When the output receives an ON signal from the processor, an LED located in the front of the module is lit. Each individual output has an LED that indicates activity.
The loads of the HOM-221 are divided into two sets of four loads and each group shares a common terminal (two common terminals per module). When the module detects a blown fuse in one of the four loads in a group, an indicator LED on the front of the module illuminates. The module contains two LEDs to support the two groups. Space for a label is provided next to each output for identification. The eight outputs are optically isolated to improve reliability.
The maximum current is 1 Amp per output and a total of 8 Amps per module in a 0-50℃ temperature environment and 10 A in 50-60℃. The maximum Off state leakage is 2.0 mA at 138V 50/60 Hz. The maximum On state voltage drop across output is 2.0 V at 2 A load. The maximum surge current is 25 A for 1 cycle (60 Hz) (no more than 1 one per second). The rated module current draw on a Sy/Max power supply is 225 mA per module at 75% duty cycle and 270 mA per module at 100% duty cycle.
The fuse type rated for the module is AGC 3, 3A, 250 V. Each of the 8 outputs is individually fused. Lower-rated fuses may be installed, depending on the output devices being controlled. Fuses are accessible through openings in the side of the module.
The ambient temperature rating is 0-60℃. The humidity rating is 0-95% non-condensing. The weight (unpackaged) is 1.8 lbs (0.806 kg).
