About the 8030-HOM-241
A maximum of 8 loads in a manufacturing process can be driven by the Type HOM-241 9-55 VAC Output Module. The outputs are optically isolated which enables the output devices connected to this module to be powered by 8 different voltage sources. This provides the site with flexibility in configuring the electrical requirements.
Each output has an LED on the front of the module that when lit, indicates that the output is receiving an ON signal from the processor.
The 8 outputs are grouped into two sets of four outputs and each group shares a common terminal (two common terminals per module). Two LEDs on the front of the module, one for each group of 4 outputs, illuminate when a blown fuse is detected. A labeling area is provided next to each output for identification.
The maximum current rating of each output is 2.0 A in a 0℃ to 45℃ temperature environment and 1.5 A in 45℃ to 60℃. Total module output current rating is 12 A in a 0℃ to 50℃ temperature environment and 10 A in 50℃ to 60℃.
The maximum Off state leakage is 5.0 maximum. The maximum surge current is 15 A for 5 msec (no more than 1 time/second). The rated module current draw on a Sy/Max power supply is 250 mA per module at 75% duty cycle and 275 mA per module at 100% duty cycle.
The fuse type rated for the module is AGC 3, 3A, 250 V. Each of the 8 outputs is individually fused. Lower-rated fuses may be installed, depending on the output devices being controlled. Fuses are accessible through openings in the side of the module.
The ambient temperature rating is 0-60℃. The humidity rating is 0-95% non-condensing. The weight (unpackaged) is 1.8 lbs (0.82 kg).
