The 8030-PS-20 module is part of the SY/MAX Class 8030 product family and is classified as a 128 I/O Capacity Module with 120VAC Input Power Supply. The 8030-PS-20 module was manufactured by Square D. The obsolescence of the 8030-PS-20 was announced in October of 1990.

The 8030-PS-20 module is a large rectangular black box. It has the capability to fit up to 128 I/O devices at once. On the front there is a knob toward the top right corner. Toward the bottom right of the front, there is an indicator light with text above it which reads, “BATTERY LOW.” In the middle of the front of the module, there is a yellow rectangular power supply device. The 8030-PS-20 module can take 120VAC or 50/60 Hz.
