Product Description

The 8030-PS-30 module is part of the SY/MAX 8030 Class product family and is classified as a 512 I/O Capacity Module with 120 VAC Input Power Supply. The 8030-PS-30 module was manufactured by Square D. The obsolescence of the 8030-PS-30 was announced in October of 1990.

The 8030-PS-30 module is a large, black rectangular housing. On the front of the 8030-PS-30 module toward the top right is the module’s ON/OFF switch. Below that lies two plugs; under the left plug is white text that reads, “120 VAC,” and under the right plug is white text that reads, “15A TOTAL.” Under both of those plugs is white text that reads, “CAUTION: CIRCUIT BREAKER DOES NOT PROTECT RECEPTACLES.” On the left hand side of the 8030-PS-30 module’s plugs is a small white rectangular box that has white text inside of it which reads, “120VAC 50/60HZ 480VA.” Further down the front of the 8030-PS-30 module on the right side is an indicator light with white text to the left of it that reads, “BATTERY LOW.” To the left of the indicator light, there is a label which describes the 8030-PS-30 module’s features. At the bottom of the 8030-PS-30 module is large white text that reads, “WHEN MOUNTING LEAVE SPACE TO SWING BATTERY PACK DOWN FOR BATTERY REPLACEMENT.” The 8030-PS-30 also has with it a thirty inch power display for the user’s convenience.
