About the 8030-RIM-131
The 8030-RIM-131 is High-Speed Counter Module made by Sy/Max. The module has seven LED lights. The first light is labeled a count enable that lights up green and illuminates when a count is enabled unless counter is overflowed. The second light is labeled as Reset and lights up red and is illuminated when the reset Input has been energized. The third light is labeled Decode 1 and lights up red and illuminates when Decode 1 Output is energized. The fourth light is labeled Decode 2 and lights up red and illuminates when Decode 2 Output is energized. The fifth light is labeled Overflow and lights up red and illuminates when data overflows or underflows. The six light is labeled data error and lights up red and illuminates when the processor has furnished bad data during Decode 1, Decode 2, or preset download. The seventh light is labeled module error and lights up red and illuminates when the module self-diagnostic has detected an error. They type and rated isolation between input terminal and logic is an optical, 2000 VRMS. The module has a Logic 0 with a low signal. The current sink required (per input) is 16mA. The module also has a Logic 1 with a high signal. Both the Logic 0 and Logic 1 has a user supply voltage required is five to twenty-four VDC. The rated current draw on Sy/Max Power Supply is 1200mA. The module also has a series of eight DIP switches.
