The 8030-RIM-143 is part of the Sy/Max 8030 series of products from Schneider, Square D. This unit functions within the 8030 series as a Fast BCD multiplex Input module. While this module has moved to legacy status and is no longer available through the original equipment manufacturer, AX Control typically keeps this and other 8030 modules in stock as either new, never used surplus, or reconditioned units.

The 8030-RIM-143 is designed to plug directly into an 8030 Sy/Max rack system where it will communicate with other modules. The 8030 system is composed of a number of different modules, power supplies, CPUs, and racks to allow the end-user the ability to create a one-of-a-kind system designed for their specific needs. This unit includes a terminal strip located along its front faceplate to allow for connections to be made without the need for removing the unit from its location within a rack system.
The 8030 system is designed for use within ambient temperatures of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius where the humidity remains between 0-95%, non-condensing.
