The 8030-ROM-122 is part of the Square D 8030 system from Schneider Electric. This is a group of I/O modules, CPUs, power supplies, rack systems, and other components that work together to allow the end-user to create a completely original and unique system designed for their use.
The 8030-ROM-122 functions as a 4-function Isolated Analog Output Module. The class 8030 series B unit is an analog unit rated at 5 VDC 1200 mA. It is approved for use in Hazardous locations and is CSA marked and UL approved. The module is designed within an external protective case with a flange and screw to connect and secure the unit within the rack system. The top and bottom of the unit are open to allow for airflow.
The 8030-ROM-122 has a front faceplate that includes a “RUN” LED indicator. This part of the module has an area to mark the range of all four registers (output #1 through output #4.) Below this, there are four sections all marked as “output adjust.” Each individual section (CH1 through CH4) has two adjustment screws, one that is marked zero and one marked span. This is located directly above the terminals for wiring on the front of the unit.
