About the 8030-ROM-222

Designed and manufactured originally by Square D as part of the SY/MAX 8030 Class product family, the 8030-ROM-222 is described as a 120VAC Output Module equipped with 16 Outputs. Additionally, it is considered an interim 8030-ROM-221. In October of 1990, the 8030-ROM-222 module’s obsolescence date was officially announced by Square D. Even though Square D, no longer has the 8030-ROM-222 module on sale and no longer supports it through repairs or other means, AX Control has this product in carefully refurbished condition and possibly in new, never touched condition available from surplus stock for purchase.

The 8030-ROM-222 module is a small, thin dark-colored device. At the bottom half of the spine of the 8030-ROM-222 module, there are four knobs which extend outward and are easy to handle. At the top of the 8030-ROM-222 module’s spine, you can find the sixteen output connections lined up. The output connections are surrounded by a red label with the SY/MAX logo. On the side of the 8030-ROM-222 module, there is a white SY/MAX label with black text on it which gives the user information about the module. The 8030-ROM-222 module has a 120AC Output BD for the user’s convenience.

The 8030-ROM-222 module weighs about 2.66 lbs. or 1.21 kg., without adding in any of AX Control’s safe, reliable packaging materials, which are capable of withstanding the many bumps and drops that occur during the shipping process.
