About the 8055-SCP-654
The 8055-SCP-654 module was designed and produced by Square D under the SY/MAX series. The 8055-SCP-654 module is classified as a processor module with an ethernet port.
The 8055-SCP-654 module is rated to be able to handle 5.5 Amps and 5 VDC of power. On the front of the 8055-SCP-654 module, there are eight total LED indicator lights. These LED indicator lights are as follows: RUN, HALT, MEMORY, FORCE, I/O, BATTERY LOW, WRITE PROTECT, and ETHERNET COMM ERROR. Below this, there is a small door secured by a screw. Behind this door is a battery. The battery is a standard 3.6V Lithium AA battery and is easily replaceable. Below the battery door is a slot to insert a key. There are four positions that they key can be turned to: RUN PROGRAM, RUN, HALT, and DISABLE OUTPUTS. Below the key slot is a small port that is labeled as “PRGMR CHNL 1.” Below this small port on the left side of the faceplate is black text that is labeled as “ETHERNET DROP.” Below this label is a spot where the number can be written in and a small black arrow that indicates that the ethernet drop is on the bottom of the 8055-SCP-654 processor module. To the right of the ethernet drop label is another small label: “COMM CHNL 2.” This label also has a small black arrow, indicating that this channel is on the bottom of the device.
